Varunendra Prasad advises local and international clients on high-value conveyancing and commercial transactions — including resort and island sales, share sales and purchases of Fiji companies, going-concern business transfers, and complicated estate matters and related property transfers. He also acts in civil and commercial litigation, including property disputes and debt recovery.
Admitted in 2008, Varunendra joined Cromptons in March 2017 and has been a partner since January 2018, having previously run his own practice (2012–2016) and practised with Fa & Company and Howards Lawyers. Arishma Goundar leads the firm’s intellectual property practice, advising on trademark and patent registration, renewals, assignments, oppositions and enforcement in Fiji and across the Pacific. Admitted to the High Court of Fiji in 2008, she holds an LLB from the University of the South Pacific (2007), a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice (2008) and an LLM from Deakin University (2014). Before joining Cromptons she taught law at the University of Fiji (2010–2016) and the University of the South Pacific (2016–2020).
